Well, it’s true. So, let’s take a look at what you can learn from your various numerology charts.
There are five numbers which make up the core of who you are and what you are here to do in numerology. They are your life path, destiny (or expression), heart’s desire, personality, and birthday number. They are all based on your birthday or name and they are the road map to understanding yourself through numerology.
Slybu.com is great for digging deeper into each core number and what they mean. However, here is a quick run down and useful tool to help you calculate what all of your numbers are.
Your Life Path Number
When it comes to your numerology chart, the most important one is your life path. This is the number which tells you about your purpose, talents, and the obstacles you may need to overcome. And it is easy to calculate.
All you need to do is add every number of your birthday together and keep adding until you get one number. For example, if your birthday is June 6, 1990, the formula would look something like this:
So, your life path number would be 7.
The second most important number is your destiny, or expression, number. This tells you how you will go about working toward your purpose. It also gives you insight into some of your strengths and weaknesses.
To calculate it, begin by assigning a numerical value between 1-9 to each letter of the alphabet starting with a=1 and so on. Then you add the numbers corresponding to your full name until you get a single digit.
For example, if your name is Ann Marie Smith it would look like this:
So, your destiny number would be 9.
Heart’s Desire Number
This number is all about your inner life and the reasons behind why you do what you do. It is what lights your soul on fire.
Calculate it by adding only the vowels in your name together. Using Ann Marie Smith as the example again, it would look like this:
So, your heart’s desire number would be 7.
Just like what it says, this is all about who you are and who you show to people. It acts as sort of a filter in your life getting rid of people and situations you don’t want and attracting the things you do.
You calculate it by adding only the consonants in your name. Sticking with Ann Marie Smith, it looks like this:
So, your personality number would be 2.
This is probably the easiest to calculate, as it is simply the day you were born. No adding or complicated ciphers needed. You just look at the day you were born and go from there.
Using the example from above: June 18th, 1990, your birthday number would be 18. No need to add them together.
This number looks deeper into the skills and challenges you have on your life path.
Now that you know how to calculate your numerology chart, you can start to learn more about your purpose in life. You can also use it to figure out how compatible you are with loved ones and all sorts of other fun things.
