Even though Baba Vanga passed away way back in 1996, some of the things she predicted are apparently still coming true. She also made a prophecy about what the year 2025 will look like and it doesn’t sound good at all. Fingers crossed that one doesn’t end up happening!
Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, known as Baba Vanga, was a very interesting woman. She was born way back in 1911 in what is now Macedonia. People claimed she had the power of prophecy. A lot of the things she predicted came true, even long after she passed away.
For example, she supposedly predicted the death of Princess Diana in a car crash in Paris. She also said that the Russian submarine Kursk would sink, which it did in 2000. And who would’ve thought Chernobyl would explode like it did in 1986? Even crazier, some people say she predicted 9/11 and her own death in 1996 at the age of 85.
Vanga’s 2024 Predictions
She even made seven predictions for the year 2024. One was that Russian President Vladimir Putin would try to be assassinated by someone from his own country! That hasn’t happened yet..unless..do you think maybe she mixed him up with Donald Trump? I mean it’s possible, they’re both world leaders.
Other prophecies for 2024 include climate change getting worse along with more severe cyber attacks. The economy may struggle too because of changes in how countries influence it globally. Tensions between nations like the US could heat up. Terrorism by groups such as ISIS may increase in Europe as well. Unfortunately, bioweapons may be tested.
Baba Vanga said Donald Trump could return to being the US leader. She also said he may face health issues. Thankfully, the year may yield medical advances on illnesses like Alzheimer’s and cancer that have been hard to treat. While some of the predictions sound concerning, at least progress is expected in healthcare.
While Baba Vanga passed away many years ago, people still closely follow the prophecies she made that are predicted to unfold all the way until the year 5079. This is because she famously stated that this is the year when the world itself will cease to exist.

2025 Is Going To Be Scary
According to Vanga’s visions, major changes are coming in 2025. That’s when things are supposed to start shifting in a big way. She saw the start of a chain reaction of terrible events that would bring an end to humanity.
One of her 2025 predictions talks about a large-scale war breaking out in Europe. This conflict would be so devastating that it completely changes life there forever. Along with the war, higher levels of radiation were also mentioned. This radiation could come from the weapons used in the European fight.
It’s interesting to note that Vanga hardly ever mentioned specific countries by name. Instead, she generally referred to entire continents in her predictions.
Vanga also predicted religious tensions would rise in Europe, possibly leading to clashes between Christians and Muslims. She said Europe will go through major changes in 2025, experiencing conflicts on a scale not seen since World War 2. It’s uncertain if this means current conflicts in Europe will worsen, or if something entirely new will happen. Only time will tell if her predictions are accurate.
Other Predictions
In 2028, Vanga said that humans will explore Venus in search of energy sources, despite the planet’s harsh conditions. According to the famous Bulgarian psychic, this exploration of Venus will occur.
Then in 2033, Vanga predicted that the polar ice caps would melt rapidly, causing extreme sea level rise across the globe. She said this would happen due to climate change getting even worse. However, she also predicted rapid ice melting would happen in 2024, but we haven’t seen that yet.
She also foresaw the spread of communism taking hold worldwide by 2076. This political ideology would dominate international affairs if her prediction proved correct.
Following this, in 2130 humanity is expected to make contact with intelligent alien lifeforms according to Vanga. Whether this contact is peaceful or hostile remains to be seen at this point in time.
Skipping ahead several centuries, in 2170 Vanga called for a global drought to afflict the entire planet. Fresh water supplies could become severely limited should a mega-drought of this scale transpire.
Fast forwarding even further to the year 3005, Vanga envisioned the fictional scenario from the movie “Mars Attacks” suddenly becoming our reality. In the film, Earth goes to war with Mars after initial contact is made. Only time will tell if we do end up in such a conflict with our planetary neighbor.
By 3797, Vanga warned that Earth might be rendered uninhabitable for humans. We would need to establish self-sustaining settlements on other worlds to survive as a species. Much will depend on how the predicted Martian war plays out and the state of our home planet.
Thankfully, according to Vanga’s long-range predictions, humanity should still be around and thriving until approximately 5079 AD. After that point is when all life on Earth may cease to exist according to her visions. Only continued progress and preparation can help ensure our civilization endures that long into the distant future.
