That means more energy, better focus, and maybe even a bit of fun along the way. You don’t need to go full biohacker or live off kale smoothies to make it happen, either. Here are six surprisingly doable ways to boost your longevity.

But staying connected doesn’t have to mean having a huge social circle. Even a few meaningful relationships, a close friend, a supportive partner, or a group you enjoy spending time with, can make a big difference. So don’t underestimate the power of a phone call, a coffee catch-up, or even chatting with a neighbor.

On the flip side, keeping your brain engaged is just as important. Learning something new, perhaps picking up a language, strumming a guitar, trying your hand at painting, or finally figuring out chess, helps your brain stay agile and resilient.
