If you have a TikTok or Instagram account, you must have noticed how flooded these social networks are with animal and kitten videos. Although these little furry creatures are cute, and looking at them brings smiles to the faces of millions of people around the world, I believe and am convinced that cats are some of the most spiritual animals.
I recently saw a video of a man (watch it here) who found a kitten by the side of the road. As he neared the edge of the road, dozens of other kittens ran toward him from the bushes. “How lucky he is,” I thought. As I was thinking about the video all day, I came to the conclusion that the man HAD to find the kittens for a reason.
It’s not even about whether he kept the kittens or gave them to friends who cared for them. He found the kittens, or rather, the kittens found him, and there must have been a deeper reason behind it than mere coincidence.
A Sign of Love
In my view, finding a kitten is a sign from the universe that you are meant for new love, and it is your duty to open your heart. A kitten will show you how much it needs to be loved and how grateful it is for your love and care, with you expecting nothing in return.
I am convinced that a tiny kitten can open the heart of even the biggest and strongest man under the sun. The next time you find a kitten, remember that it is a sign of love and encouragement from the universe to open your heart to love again. That kitten probably lost its mother and experienced suffering. Even so, it opened its heart and did not stop trusting people. It fights and wants again the love it lost.
Remember that no matter what pain you’ve been through, you deserve to be loved again, and all you need to do is open your heart.
A Reminder That You Are Never Alone
Kittens are small, funny, and very playful. As they grow and a part of your family, you begin to realize how much they mean to you and that you don’t actually feel as alone as before. They can lie hidden under the bed or behind the kitchen counter, but you still know that they are there with you and their aura flows throughout your apartment, even without seeing them.
In my opinion, solitude does not equal loneliness. You can be surrounded by dozens of people and still feel lonely, or be in the presence of one little kitten and feel happy.
Kittens remind us that we are strong, we can be vulnerable and honest, and we can find solace in each other. They remind us of the eternal promise that there is always someone who will love us and believe in us, however small or large they may be.
Last but not least, if you have recently lost someone, the kitten symbolizes a new beginning and has come to help you heal your heart.
Do We Choose Cats or Do They Choose Us?
Cats perceive energies and vibrations like no other and can sense who is a good person and with whom they want to spend their lives. Thus I believe that cats choose us. Cats, by nature, are independent creatures. They have the ability to take care of themselves and do not rely on humans for survival. When a cat chooses to form a bond with a human, it is a conscious decision on the cat’s part. They are selecting their companion, not the other way around.
Cats are also known as animal healers, and I believe that when they meet a person with a health issue, they are drawn to them because they naturally want to help them. I know a case of a woman who suffered from lymph nodes on her neck, and after finding a kitten in a city park and lying around her neck every evening, the nodes shrunk.
Final Words
Whatever your opinion of cats, we can all agree that there is something magical about them. They may seem withdrawn or moody, but the energy and spirit they carry is a true gift from the universe. The next time you find a kitten or someone tells you they found a kitten, remember that there is something deeper behind it. But what it is, you have to figure it out for yourself.
