Frantisek Drtikol Photographer
Frantisek Drtikol was a Czech photographer who became famous mainly for his portraits and acts in the style of the late Art Nouveau. An important element of Drtikol’s early photographic work was the use of fine printing, and applied interventions in the negative or painted background.

His wife took the form of fairies as dreamy symbolism with joyful experiences of life and eroticism, and Femme Fatales, which mixed symbolism of sex and death. Take a look at special photos from a special photographer!
I was personally intrigued by the combination of colors Frantisek Drtikol chose. The fineness of the female body and colors is quite unique. The photographs reflect the artist’s thinking.
